Allowed Sites

Popup windows can sometimes carry useful information. As a result, you can instruct the popup blocker to remember specific, trusted sites in which popup windows will be allowed to appear. The popup blocker automatically turns itself off when you visit an allowed site. This information is kept on your computer and is displayed in the Allowed Sites list. Above it is a drop-down list of recently visited Web pages.

Allowing a site

  1. Copy/paste the address or select one in the list.

  2. Click Add. The address instantly appears.

  3. Click OK.

Removing a Web site from the Allowed Site list

  1. Select the Web site's address.

  2. Click Delete. The selected address instantly disappears.

  3. Click OK.

Allowing a single page

To allow a popup window to appear only once, hold down the CTRL key while clicking on its link. The popup window appears. This does not add the Web site or the Web page to the list of Allowed Sites.

Remember that you can also perform several actions directly from the toolbar.
