Search your computer via the deskbar

  1. Type one or more keywords in the deskbar's keyword box. Use search operators if necessary.

  2. In the deskbar window, select the search category.

The deskbar window opens automatically, displaying search results as you type. If you switch search categories, keywords in the deskbar's keyword box will be reused to carry out the new search.

TIP: Use a keyboard shortcut to place the mouse pointer in the deskbar's keyword box.
