Index history items

You can search the content of your History folder. The history folder of your default browser contains only links to Web sites and Web pages visited in previous days and weeks. Consequently, you cannot search for keywords in Web pages.

To index the content of your History folder

  1. In the Tools menu, click Options.

  2. Click the Other Content tab.

  3. Specify which History folder to index by selecting the corresponding check box. You can select more than one.

  4. Click OK.

Click the Update other content now link to force the immediate index update of targeted folders in the History search category.
