Architecture of Copernic Search Server

  • Copernic Search Server Index

The Copernic Search Server Index scans all the documents, files & emails saved on the server. The index is centralized and accessible to all users inside your business. You can schedule the indexing process to make sure your server resources are optimized at all time.

  • Copernic Search Server Console

Similar to the interface of Copernic Desktop Search, access the indexing status to see what has been indexed and what Copernic Search Server is indexing. You can also control the folders & public mailboxes need to be indexed.

  • Copernic Desktop Search Enterprise client

The beauty of this architecture is that the user will have an access to a local index and the shared index created by the Copernic Search Server. The user will be able to search locally and on the server using a quick drop-down next to the search button. The Enterprise client is required to search locally and on the server. Each user needs to go into his configuration to point his client to the server by using the server name or IP address.
