How it works
It’s user friendly, it thinks for you and it won’t waste your time.
- Copernic Online Backup installs a small software program on your computer that is integrated with your desktop and works seamlessly in the background.
- Select the files you want to protect and Copernic Online Backup will automatically store and save any files that have been modified since the previous backup.
- Copernic Online Backup “goes into sleep mode” while you work so it never slows down your computer or internet connection.
The Copernic Online Backup service is:
Secure & Private
Breathe easy.
Only the user who stores the data can access it. Your data is safely encrypted so employees of the software vendor can’t access your stored data. Not even the Copernic Online Backup programmers can view the data you stored on the Copernic Online Backup servers!
Three tiered encryption
Unlike other back-up systems, the Copernic Online Backup System uses a three-tiered encryption system which encrypts data on your computer, again in transit, and finally when at rest in storage. This stands in contrast to most other online backup systems, where data is neither encrypted on your client, nor stored as encrypted data so as to prevent employees of the software vendor from accessing stored data.
Automatic Backup
Don’t stress. In fact, you don’t have to do anything! Even while you're away from your computer, Copernic Online Backup automatically backs up your new and changed files.
Reliable
With one click, you’ll never lose another document. Trouble can sneak up on you. A virus, a failed hard-disk, a stolen computer, anything can happen. When it does, relax. Copernic Online Backup Solution is built to help you out of tricky situations. Just click “Recover” within the Copernic Online Backup program, enter your username and password, select the file(s) to recover, and click “restore file.” It’s no trouble.
Archive access
Back in business. The Copernic Online Backup system keeps an archive of every daily version of the file. If you want to retrieve the previous version of a document you worked on let’s say, last Tuesday, we can get it. This contrasts with most online backup system where daily versions are deleted. |
