What are the minimum requirements for myCopernic on the Go! ?
myCopernic connector

  • A computer with broadband access
  • Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or higher (32-bits)
  • A supported desktop search application

What are the supported desktop search tools?

Is there a size cap for file downloads?
Yes. Although we are aware that large file downloads may not occur much often on mobile devices, we have kept in mind that on the Go! can be used with a remote PC and so the size cap has been set to 100 MB.



Usability

My documents aren't formatted like the originals on my mobile. Why is that?
When you view a document, its format is adapted to fit your mobile's display to make it easier to view and faster to load.

Can I download documents from my computer to my remote or mobile device?
Yes. When you are viewing a document that can be downloaded to your device, a download option will appear on your screen. When clicking on the download link, the document will be downloaded to your device if it supports the file format.

How does the Send by e-mail option work?
Emails are sent by the connector installed on your client computer using SMTP. You will need to configure the connector by providing the SMTP server to use. This prevents your mobile device from having to download and send your documents, thus saving a lot of data transfer and increasing data security.

I do not have the Send by e-mail option. Why?
The Send by e-mail option may not be enabled in the connector installed on your client computer. This must be done through the connector options. Some documents may not offer the option to be sent by e-mail if they are larger than the maximum e-mail size specified in your myCopernic settings.
