What is it?
The myCopernic services work with a software application, the myCopernic connector, installed on your computer that connects
to the myCopernic servers in order to enable the service. It manages the communication between your computer's desktop search
and the myCopernic servers.
Your desktop search tool can only be used from your computer. myCopernic connector uses your desktop search to find the information
that you request and makes it available for you from anywhere, through your myCopernic account.
How it Works
The client computer contains hundreds of documents, emails and media files. myCopernic uses the power of personal
desktop searching to enable users to access their searchable content from anywhere.
The connector, installed on the client computer, seamlessly connects to the myCopernic network to securely and privately
make data searchable from virtually any remote device equipped with a web browser.
The myCopernic servers are used solely for privacy and security purposes,
making sure the client computer is only accessible using the right login and that every transfer is encrypted using an SSH protocol.
The remote device can then query the client computer to find, preview, download and access content.
