By using Copernic Inc.’s (“Copernic”) Sites (all domains owned and/or operated by Copernic) or other Copernic services (“Copernic Services”) you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do NOT agree to the Terms of Service, do not use any of Copernic‘s services.

Access to Copernic intended for personal use only
Copernic Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use. You may not take any content of the result page from a Copernic search and reformat or display it or mirror Copernic’s search on your website. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify or terminate our services as well as these Terms of Service from time to time with or without notice and without liability to you, any other user or any third party. Please check back periodically to our Terms of Service for the current terms of use.

No Automated Querying
You may not send automated queries of any sort to Copernic Sites without express permission in advance from Copernic. Note that “sending automated queries” includes, among other things:

  • Using any software which sends queries to our Sites to determine how a website or webpage ranks for various queries or for any other reason
  • Performing “offline” searches on any Copernic site.

You agree not to use our Sites to:

  • Disseminate or transmit any Content (paid and unpaid search results and all websites hosted by Copernic) that infringes or violates any party’s copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent or other proprietary right, including, but not limited to, using third party copyrighted materials, without appropriate permission, using third party trademarks without appropriate permission or attribution, or using or distributing third party information (whether or not protected as a trade secret) in violation of a duty of confidentiality;
  • Violate any law or regulation (local, state, provincial, national, or international) whether or not intentionally;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Copernic Services, our Sites, or servers or networks connected to our Sites, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the Sites;
  • Engage in any activities that would violate the personal privacy rights of others, including but not limited to, collecting and distributing information about Internet users without their expressed permission, except as permitted by applicable law; or
  • Post any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programmes designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
