Network and server administrator
Under the supervision of the Director of technical operations, the Network and server administrator will be in charge of the current IT
structure and will provide technological solutions that answer to the company's needs in terms of optimization, based on the company
standards in place.
Long term, 40 hours per week. Eligible to group insurance plan. Salary to be discussed based on experience.
- Participate in the roll-out and upgrades of the IT structure;
- Participate in the purchase, installation and maintenance of the hardware;
- Monitor and insure the maintenance or the network systems (Firewall, Switches, Exchange);
- Configure and deploy server systems such as Unix/Linux, Windows Server;
- Maintain and support the workstations and the different networks (manage accounts, FTP, Windows, phone system, domain names, DNS and SSL certificates, etc.);
- Monitor and maintins backups;
- Install and configure server software such as Apache, IIS, Exchange, etc.;
- Study and evaluate new technologies, suggest replacement strategies and perform the required implementation tasks associated to the strategy;
- Other related tasks based on needs.
- Relevant educational background;
- 3 years experience as a Network administrator;
- Knowledge of RAID technologies (hardware & software);
- Knowledge in clusterization, load balancing, Tomcat Servlet Engine;
- Knowledge in Virtualization / VMWare;
- Experience in problem solving with switches, servers, Web server configuration (Firewall, Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, Anti-Virus, etc.);
- Good knowledge of Cisco products;
- Good knowledge in Web security;
- Good written and spoken skills in English and French;
- Good people skills, analysis skills, works well under pressure;
- Availability.
Quality assurance specialist
The QA specialist's main role is to work in collaboration with the development team in order to make sure products of
high quality are produced within given timelines.
Long term, 40 hours per week. Eligible to group insurance plan. Salary to be discussed based on experience.
- Experience in quality assurance in a software development environment;
- Experience in creating, documenting, executing and updating test grids;
- Good technical skills, ease in problem solving and ability to work in a demanding environment;
- Experience in test automation;
- Knowledge in networking and domain controllers;
- Ability to find, reproduce and clearly explain issues found;
- Knowledge in mobile technologies;
- Knowledge in development using Python (asset)
- Knowledge in development (asset)
- Knowledge of Linux environment (asset)
- Knowledge of VM Ware (asset)
